What is the Kairos Combine

Four days. Multiple universities. One door to America.

A four-day, high-stakes evaluation event in Durban where multiple American football programmes — NCAA universities and a professional club — arrive with active recruitment mandates to scout the next generation of South African players. You don't just train. You're seen, measured, and signed.

The Talent
Was Always
There.

A backyard in Soweto. A pitch in KwaMashu. A school field in Mthatha. The next NCAA forward, the next pro signing, the next number ten — they've been on these fields the whole time. What was missing wasn't the player. It was the room where the right player and the right coach finally meet at the same time, under the same stakes.

The Room
Wasn't.

Why the Combine had to exist

Three gaps stood between talent & opportunity.

South Africa has never lacked players. It lacked the structure that turns players into prospects, and prospects into signed athletes. We mapped the three holes in the pipeline — and then built the room where all three close at once.

Gap 01

Visibility

The best player at his local club in KwaZulu-Natal has never been evaluated by anyone with the power to change his trajectory. Not because those people don't exist. Because no one built the infrastructure to bring them together.

Gap 02

Credibility

Talent without a credible evaluation process is invisible to international programmes. NCAA coaches do not fly to South Africa for a kickabout. They fly for the Combine — because Kairos built the standard that makes the journey worth it.

Gap 03

Structure

There was no pipeline. No pathway. No system that took a player from the streets of Durban to a scholarship offer in America in a way that was professional, rigorous, and built to produce real outcomes.

The Combine

Four days. Multiple universities. A process built to answer one question with total clarity: Are you ready for the next level — right now? The Combine is the moment those three gaps close at once.

Secure your spot

The Combine is the door.

Selected players enter the Kairos Pathway. Not a certificate. Not a vague follow-up. A structured, supported, relentlessly pursued route to a scholarship or professional contract.

Selection

The standard is held. Not every player who enters is selected.

Preparation

Football, academic, and mental readiness for the next level.

Marketing

Kairos makes the case. Video, data, relationships. Active — not passive.

Placement

We stay until placement is confirmed — not until introductions are made.

Support

Mentorship through transition. The file never closes.

Our University Network

Active recruitment mandates from American football programmes. Each name below is part of the Kairos network — and the list keeps growing.

From a backyard pitch in Soweto to a full ride at LSU — the gap closed in four days.
